Jus read an article dat says milk is nt good for an ulcer patient wen it helps relieve my ulcer pain wheneva I take it. Hw can one stay away from milk completely.
U just av to avoid milk. Yes it gives relief but just for a while then it causes ur stomach to produce more acid to enable it digest the milk. The more acid ur produce, the longer or more pains u have. Unless u have just heart burn. With real ulcer milk is a NO NO and NO

Does ulcer causes one to purge.
From experience and what I’ve observed in many ulcer patients alike, ulcers and gastritis are complimentary ailments (gastritis is an infection of the ‘stomach’, so having wound that won’t be infected has a slim chance of not happening). Purging is something that just occurs when the stomach gets infected.
Hameedah,
You may have a point, but the truth is most micro-organisms cannot survive the acidic environment in the stomach. So, most of the time, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach wall) that accompanies peptic ulcer is due to the injurious effect of the acid on the ulcerated part.
yes it can cause one to purge if you have too mush acid in your stomach
